*After around thirty minutes of digging, Kohga had begun to tire. The stress and confusion of recent events had finally started to catch up with him. The entirety of his digging endeavors, he had been thinking of it. Why had this helmeted devil attacked the leaf, why did he charged straight in, attacking a man who destroyed a mountain with ease, why had Taleson deemed it necessary to save his life, why, why, why? So many questions sped through his brain, twisting and turning, running in circles with not yet an answer in sight. He was so caught up in thought that he hadn't noticed his digging was no longer straight, it had a downward angle now. Not more than ten degrees, but it was a drastic change over the amount of distance he had dug. He was now over several hundred yards beneath the surface of the earth, and still digging. Kohga was now getting fairly tired, and decided that shortly he would try to surface, and check out where he was. Surely he was in the forest outside of Konoha.* *What he couldn't have known, was that he was in a forest, just not the one he had wanted to go into. Instead of the somewhat welcoming forest that was just outside the gates of the esteemed village, he was in the Forest of Death. The villages training ground for chuunin exams and jounin who would like to test their mettle alone against the dangers the forest would inevitably offer. He would go up soon and find that out, but, before he could stop he burst through a wall of dirt, and into a vast subterranean cavern. The cavern was enormous, easily a mile high from floor to ceiling, and too deep for unadjusted eyes to see, and seemed to be wider than it was tall. Instead of being caught up in the amazing caves majesty, Kohga first had to attend to the problem at hand, avoid the fall to certain death.* *The only luck Kohga would have on his side would be that he wasn't traveling at an especially high rate of speed when digging, due to injury, and that he had recently learned to manipulate the earth around him. Well, quick thinking and adapting to situations would help too. Physics however, was not on his side. Falling at ten meters per second was a recipe for disaster, and he wasn't exactly falling straight, no, his trajectory was bringing him ever further from the safety of the wall beside him. Quickly he commanded the muscles in his arms and fingers to dance together in unison. He had fallen for about three seconds before completing his jutsu, rather slow, but with all that was affecting him currently, I'd challenge anyone to do better. His execution was perfect by comparison, from below him a stone arm shot from the wall, extending outwards to meet the falling chuunin. Just in the nick of time it locked onto the collar of his jacket and in the same instant, two more fists blew out of the wall to stop him altogether. The sheer weight of the man combined with his velocity did indeed take its toll on the stone jutsu, the two arms supporting him had cracked, not all the way through, but enough to cause a bit of worry. With the three somewhat sturdy arms helping him stop his fall he was now, in a sense, safe. He could now observe the cave and take in it's brilliance.* (Doton: Gaia no Ken) Earth Element: Fists of Gaia Rank: C, ninjutsu User: Raiden Kohga Description: After weaving a few seals the user is able to manipulate the earth anywhere within five yards to resemble hands, Fists, or spikes. *Of course, Kohga didn't exactly feel comfortable with his current situation so he carefully placed his hand on the wall behind, and funneled doton chakra into it. He reformed the wall to have a seat, where he could relax and take in it's splendor, while draining the excess dust into the void below, though he used a bit more chakra than necessary as he hadn't really done that before. With a great amount of risk involved, he released the jutsu holding his collar and supporting a good amount of his weight. Under the new adjusted weight, the arms creaked and cracked. Slowly and carefully Kohga backed up into his newly made seat and took a seat. He quickly noticed his distance from the ground, and how high the ceiling was. He was approximately four hundred yards from the ceiling, and twelve hundred from the floor below, giving him a birds eye view of the breath taking. * *What he saw, simply put, amazed him. The scene before him was astounding, it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, and was sure that it was the most beautiful sight in existence. In the gigantic subterranean chasm, there was light. Not from the sun, but everything seemed to glow with the radiance of a diamond in the sun. There were what looked like miles of of cherry blossom trees, and other vibrant plants of all colors that he couldn't identify. Partly that was because he grew up in the blandness of the deserts of the Wind country, partly because he had no interest in plants and herbs, until now. Electrifying pinks, purples, blues, greens, almost all the colors of the rainbows jumped from the luscious plant life and brightened the surroundings. Upon further inspection, he noticed a river, coming out from a small waterfall at the base of the sheer cliff he was now sitting in. It too, was glowing, a vivid aqua, and stretched for ages into a rather large lake, glowing a deeper blue, and with not an end in sight. Vegetation surrounded the lake. The grounds below seemed a beautiful prehistoric landscape, unmolested by the world above. It was still pure.* *After almost an hour of taking in the view, Kohga decided it was time to scale down the cliff and explore the mind blowing scenery below. He crouched on the dirt chair, and leisurely wove a set of seals, he was in no hurry. Moments later he was burrowing into the wall again, and then he began to dissension. As a courtesy to himself, he dug in a spiral fashion, much the a Victorian staircase, to both make the descent easier, and should he want to ascend, to his seat again, it wouldn't be difficult. Only time consuming, since he was more than half a mile above the ground, beneath the ground. After a good time of digging almost literally in circles, he dug in the direction he though the wall would be. A mistake on his part. He dug in the direction of the underground stream the felt the waterfall. Most likely it was from a lake inside the forest of death, and fed the stream, waterfall, and lake.* (Doton: Moguragakure) Earth Element: Mole Hiding Rank: C - Supplementary Ninjutsu Users: Doton Users (Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. This technique allows the ninja to burrow into the ground and hide out of sight. This allows them to avoid attack or travel underground.)
*As soon as his arms crashed through the wall, water cascades inwards, threatening his health and safety. The frigid water quickly filled the tunnel he was building, barely allowing him a full breath of air beforehand. He knew a good bit about the human body, and thus, he knew about the dangers of hypothermia. He also knew that without air he would die, pretty basic knowledge that one. With time against him in so many ways, he pushed through the water pressure and dug In the opposite direction of the ever flowing water, in hopes of coming out of the wall and into the open.* *Luck was on his side this time, sort of. He did indeed come out of the wall, and into the open air, just not where he had hoped. He was around six yards from the ground, and with the speed he was digging, as well as the force of water behind him, he was traveling quite quickly. He emerged from the wall, and saw the distance in which he would fall. Really though, there wasn't much he could do, the water had pushed him further out than his stone arms could reach, and was falling to the earth. Again, with luck, he was above the river below, and splashed into the water with great force, taking the little bit of air he had from his lungs. He was now caught up in the turbulent waters, being taken down stream, into the unknown lake.* *Kohga flipped himself right ways up in response, and touched the ground of the somewhat shallow river, and augmented his his leg muscles. The result was a huge burst of strength which sent him exploding from his almost watery grave, into the air, and onto land. Safety. Still, he was freezing, the water was extremely cold for some reason. Maybe the earth had chilled it on it's way down? Really that was the last thing on his mind. Even before he thought of stripping down and finding wood to make a fire, he was again overwhelmed with the wonder of the the place he had discovered. A slight gasp escaped his mouth, from the sight above, he couldn't exactly gauge the height of the trees and foliage below. However, on the ground, he could get a full view. Where a normal cherry blossom tree would stop growing at around five yards, these trees were already almost twice that. Even the other plants, rose bushes, birds of paradise, dragon trees, and other types of exotic plants, were all double the size, and probably still growing, and had a glow about them. It was like no sight he had ever seen, or heard of.* *After a few moments, he pulled his jaw from the floor, and addressed his needs. He did it with a conscious mind of the brilliance around him though. He stripped down to his skivvies as searched for wood from a tree that had fallen. He couldn't bring himself to harm the beautiful surroundings. With some searching he did end up finding a fallen tree, and grabbed the end of it, again he enhanced his muscles with doton chakra, and began to drag the hunk of dry wood into the one open space he had seen while searching. Upon reaching the site, he noticed how tired he was. He was on the verge of exhaustion. Many things were the cause of this, and had taken its toll without him realizing. He had to quickly make a fire and set his clothes to dry, maybe catch a nap. With great effort, Kohga forced himself to his wet, and seemingly extraordinary heavy clothes, and grabbed them. He threw them over his shoulder and walked over this his encampment, nearly collapsing on the way.* *He finally made it, in the time he thought to be an eternity, and hung his clothes on a tree. Oddly enough, now he was almost nude, and his undies were dry, he noticed the temperature of the chasm. It was yet another thing this surprising place shared with the tropics. It was quite humid, and very warm. It probably reached the mid eighties, in Fahrenheit that is. Warm enough to sleep how it just is, his clothes would probably be fine until later. With that thought, he leaned up against a nearby tree, and quickly drifted off into a deep slumber.*

*Several hours later Kohga awoke from his sleep, feeling fully rejuvenated. He sat up, his back a little itchy from sleeping bare skin against a tree, and yawned deeply. For some reason, he had slept better there than anytime he could remember in the past months. Something about this lush environment helped him sleep, and little did he know, heal. Steadily Kohga brought himself to his feet, and did his morning stretches. He was a little apprehensive to stretch his injured thigh, but when it came time to, he noticed the pain had almost completely subsided, and when stretching it normally, actually felt a little better. It felt like it was sore from exercising, not having recovered from a decent gash. Yet another thing for him to ponder. After his stretches he would do his morning workout, granted he called it that, but because he was beneath the ground, he had no idea what the actual time was. Maybe 'after slumber workout' would be a more appropriate name. A little over an hour later, which normally would have been longer but he didn't go running in case he got lost, he decided it was time for a bath. He was actually quite dirty, yesterday was not an easy one, all the traveling beneath the earth, falling, more digging, falling into the river, then hiking around. At this moment he realized he would need to wash his clothes as well. He dropped his head and sighed, what he would rather do is explore and think, but he couldn't do that in his underwear.* *Kohga collected his clothing from the tree he hung them on, and to his surprise they were almost dry. He was almost right, the temperature in this place had dried them damn near completely. Granted, they were about to become wet again, he sighed and wished he hadn't been so tired, and/or thought about this before be passed out on a tree. Well, in any case he had a log, some leaves, and twigs to start a fire to dry off his stuff. He trudged through the bush and over to the nearly ice cold water, and put his hand into it. He shivered slightly, it was the coldest thing he had encountered, pretty well ever in his life. Growing up in Suna they got a cold rain, and had cold water, but it seemed colder than it was because of the sheer heat of the desert. Granted the nights became very cold, but even still, this was much colder. Suddenly, he had a thought, maybe the lake this lead to was warmer? Well, it was worth a shot.* *Kohga stood up and yawned once again. His sleep really did rejuvenate him fully. He was able to reach a deep restorative sleep, and it felt amazing. Once he had his clothes dried and on, he would have to find out why, and perhaps do a bit of training whilst doing so. Kohga walked along the rivers bank, admiring the once mesmerizing qualities this new place held. He thought that one could spend his entire life here, just studying the place, and still not even come close to learning all about it. Hell, he hadn't even seen much wildlife yet. A few bugs here and there, nothing quite out of the ordinary... Yet. After a brisk walk, eyeing his surroundings and taking in what he could at a glance, he arrived at the edge of the lake. It was enormous, miles long at least, and nearly as wide as the cavern itself. Like the river it was glowing an illustrious blue, though a bit deeper in color due to the sheer quantity of water. He kneeled down beside it, and stuck his hand in. To his surprise the water here was much warmer, for whatever reason. He looked beside him, the mouth of the river was only yards away, he figured that if he walked along the embankment a little further the water would become even warmer.* *After yet another good walk, maybe several hundred yards, something struck him as odd. For some reason the shrubbery and forestry didn't grow within five yards or so of the lake. This place held many mysteries, and Kohga wanted to know them all. His head fell back and he let out a sigh, he didn't want to wash his clothes. So boring, but it must be done. Being almost nude was so unbecoming to him.* *He dipped the first article of clothing into the water, his jacket, and began to wash away the dried mud, essentially dirt, from it. He began to smile, the water was very warm, and it soothed him. A few minutes later he was finished with his jacket and moved on to the next item, his pants, and went through the same motions until all his clothes were clean, well, as clean as possible. All the while he was not really thinking of anything. For someone so full of worry and confusion upon entering this entrancing place, he was now almost carefree. That might change when the luster of the environment wears off, but that remained to be seen.* *Kohga finished his washing, holding his pants, and the reached for his jacket. His eyebrows twitched and then became furrowed. In his happy stupor, he had just tossed his jacket onto the ground, soaking wet, and into a puddle of mud. Well, it would be easier to wash this time around. Not really caring about his pants he just tossed his pants onto his jacket, if he had to wash his jacket, might as well wash his pants again too. He justified this by thinking that they'll now be cleaner this way. This time, he thought ahead, and leisurely wove some seals. Upon completion, a familiar jutsu was cast. About a yard from him, three stone fists jutted from the ground, at a forty five degree angle, in a triangle format, facing one another, and stopping about a foot from each other. With the same utter lack of urgency in which the seals were woven, Kohga went back and washed his clothes again. This time when he finished Kohga hung each article of clothing on the end of the stone spikes. * (Doton: Gaia no Ken) Earth Element: Fists of Gaia Rank: C, ninjutsu User: Raiden Kohga Description: After weaving a few seals the user is able to manipulate the earth anywhere within five yards to resemble hands, Fists, or spikes. *Kohga was surprisingly relaxed, the very recent events had almost disappeared from his thoughts. Most likely it was due to the solitude and serene surroundings. Even the fact that he was standing around nude didn't bother him, after all, who was around to see? Kohga went and collected some brush, twigs, and kindling to make a small fire to dry his clothes with. During his short search, he noticed a great amount of herbs. Medicinal, poisonous, and edible ones. This place truly was interesting, and if he decided to disclose its location, would surely be a treasure of Konoha. After he quelled his curiosity by inspecting some plants, he walked back to his clothing and placed the brush underneath the pyramid shaped jutsu. Kohga had some survival skills, but was unaware how to naturally start a fire. Hope was not lost however, as lightning burns more than twice as hot as the sun. He knelt beside the kindling, and formed his fingers in the shape of a gun and pointed it at the collection of burnable objects. Next he began to focus a good amount of raiton chakra into his finger tips, and then expelled it forwards. Granted it was not the most accurate shot, but from three inches away it didn't really matter. It did incinerate some almost all it touched, but also it left some embers, more than enough to start the flame he required. This did give him an idea for a jutsu, one that should have been obvious due to another quite similar jutsu of his. Better late than never.* *Kohga eyed the embers cautiously at first, hoping that it would begin to burn, which it did. Pleased with his simple accomplishment, Kohga stood up and cracked his neck. When he pulled his head to the side, he felt the crusty dirt and sweat on his neck peel away. He groaned slightly, he wasn't a huge fan of being dirty, and with the recent excitement, he had forgotten about it. No worries though, he would just dive into the lake and wash himself in the same way he washed his clothes.* *Off in the distance, almost a mile away, eyes poked out of the water, staring in Kohga's direction, at him and the new fire.* *Kohga figured it wouldn't take long for him to clean himself, so he left the fire to burn, and dove into the lake. Upon breaching the surface, he was surprised at the waters feel. He hadn't noticed before, but it was somehow different than above the surface. It was, thicker, but cleaner. He shrugged it off and popped his head back out of the water, and underneath, he scrubbed himself down. After that, he dunked his head and tried washing his hair, once, twice, three times to make sure. All the while, the eyes grew closer. When his head came out of the water, he noticed the fire was a good deal bigger than a moment ago. His jacket had slipped down and caught fire, and Kohga was less than pleased about it. Quickly he swam to the bank and lifted himself out, unaware that the eyes that were watching him from afar, were directly beneath him, and planned to bite his leg and drown him.* *He ran to the flame and slammed one hand into the ground, and one into the pillar holding his jacket. Quickly he used his doton chakra to both dissimilate the stone spike, and disperse the soil beneath the fire, dropping both into a decent hole. Seconds afterwards he used a bit more to cover the hole and smother the flame completely. He groaned loudly. His favorite, and only jacket, had just burned up. The only consolation was that it wasn't cold here. Well, that and his pants, chonies, and shoes were okay. Shortly there after Kohga got dressed, noticing they were completely dry. His immediate thought was that the air here was also different, it too was thicker, more rich. This place, it became more and more curious as time went on.* *Now, the eyes were peering just over the bank, almost glaring at the blissfully unaware Leaf ninja. They seemed to be scheming.*

*Kohga stood around, dressed completely now, or as best he could now that his jacket had burned to a crisp. He reached up and ran his fingers through his hair, sighing while doing so. "Gahhhhhhh. Why my jacket? I could accept my pants, but not my jacket." his next thought was along the lines of 'might as well get a bit of training in.' With that thought now dominating his mind, he did some preliminary physical exercises. Push-ups, sit-ups, and stuff of that sort, to get his blood pumping.* *All the while, the eyes peered from the abnormal lake. Watching, perhaps learning, every move that was made by the intruder.* *After he'd finished a few sets of each exercise, he decided that it was time to learn a new jutsu. Which kind and what it would do was the issue. He had been mulling over a few ideas for a while now, and was only just becoming strong enough to use them as of a few months ago. In truth, he hadn't even realized his newfound capabilities just yet.* *As Kohga stood among the lush trees, and vibrant plants, he was picking his next jutsu. It came within moments, it should have been obvious. He already had lightning clones, why not rock?* *The eyes in the water watched intensely as Kohga formed the first seal and began focusing his chakra for the new technique. They knew he was a shinobi based on his previous actions, what they wanted to know, was his strength, and latent potential.* *Seconds after focusing his chakra, Kohga slowly formed some seals and in no rushed way, two stone clones began to rise on each of his sides. They weren't perfect by any means, but it was good enough for a first try. The one on his left was in the worst shape. As soon as it formed fully, it's right hand and left arm fell off, and it's knees began to crumble. The one on the right was in better shape, but not perfect either. When it stood above the earth from which it formed, dust began to fall from it. It was shaped correctly, just not held together as well as it should be.* (Doton: Doton Bunshin) Earth Element: Rock Clone Rank: C, Supplementary, Attack, Defensive Ninjutsu User: Various Doton users Description: After a simple set of seals is woven, up to eight clones will arise from the earth. They are not particularly quick, but are quite sturdy and have equal strength to the caster. The clones can slip in and out of the earth at will, making them a decent reconnaissance jutsu.
*Kohga took a breath, and swung a strong kick at the right clone. Upon impact the clone burst into rocky shrapnel and disintegrated, settling on the ground below. In a fluid motion, and in unison, he aimed a spinning backfist at the left clone and fused it with lightning chakra. The strike blasted apart the shoulder of the clone and spun it so that the back of the clone faced him. With another clean blow to where the spin should be, the clone was blown apart.* *Kohga was definitely a little irked by this. He always thought himself a prodigy. This, needless to say, was a disappointment. With more urgency this time, Kohga's fingers whizzed through the seals, and this time three clones were brought forth from the ground. One behind him, and two in the spots the two previous clones had been formed. All three in perfect shape, from the outside anyway. Their innards became sand after two to three inches depending on location. The vital spots, oddly enough, had the two inch walls.* (Doton: Doton Bunshin) Earth Element: Rock Clone Rank: C, Supplementary, Attack, Defensive Ninjutsu User: Various Doton users Description: After a simple set of seals is woven, up to eight clones will arise from the earth. Improved." Kohga knew they weren't perfect, but it was head and shoulders above his previous try. He walked over to them, and placed his hands on the chest on two of them. He forced his chakra into them and solidified them, and moved to the third, and followed suit. The four of them stood motionless, looking towards the clone that was behind Kohga.* *The eyes in the water seemed to glow with curiosity. What they couldn't see, was the clone mouthing silent words to Kohga. The clone saw a glimmer in the water and quickly identified them as eyes. Water would have shown a similar color to the one being reflected. This was more of closely related to that of an animal. The clone mouthed if they should attack, to which Kohga shook his head. Now his curiosity had been piqued.* * "So, who, what are you?" Kohga spoke as he turned around to face the eyes in the water. During this time the clones walked around him, two on the left, one on the right. All staring at the eyes, who by now had dropped beneath the water a yard or so, maybe to plan their next move?*

*He stood silently now, awaiting the return of the creature hiding in the curious lake. It was the first form of animal life he'd seen in the brief amount of time he first arrived in the underground sanctuary. Sure, he had seen a good amount of large bugs, but didn't take much notice of them since everything was larger than usual down here.* *Kohga took a step back and whispered into one of the clones ears. Quickly after the clone nodded and began to sink back into the floor, seconds later, he was gone. He then pointed at the the floor on opposite sides of him, about three feet away. Immediately the clones both moved to those spots. Kohga was forming a plan to capture the beast.* *The eyes watched beneath the water. As the clones moved, so did it. In what would have looked like a deep breath, the beast drew in a very large amount of water, enough to make a small dent in the surface. Very much like effect of draining the bathtub or sink. In the next moment the hidden animal spewed it forth from around a foot beneath the surface, sending a jet of water half a yard in diameter barreling towards Kohga.* *The mismatch-eyed shinobi was no fool. He saw the small indentation in the water, which is why he had the clones moved in the first place. For now, he would gather data, and tire the beast out before capturing, and perhaps sealing it for later use. All living beings faced with risk when coming into contact with Kohga. The water was coming straight at him, forcing Kohga to dodge to the left, and take a spot next to his clone. That isn't to say the blast of water wasn't formidable. If that had caught him off guard it might have hit him square in the chest and at minimum knocked him from his feet. * *Upon landing Kohga stood up straight again, holding his position. His clones did the same. From the outside looking in, it would appear that Kohga was not fighting because he could not see his opponent. That, was both true and false. Yes, it was true that he could not see the beast in the lake. However, he had a set of eyes searching beneath the earth and ready to relay information to him.* *The clone traveled lackadaisically under the feet of his creator, all four felt that there was no immediate threat to them. The stone replica of Kohga would reach the wall of the lake mere seconds after the beast inhaled the water. It continued to watch as the impressive blast was spouted from its mouth. Unfortunately, it was still a bit far off to see completely. The clone was able to determine by it's silhouette that it was of Osteichthyes decent. Meaning it seemed to be a fish. It watched still as the curious fish now sank a bit lower into the water, still roughly about the same position in terms of distance. With the necessary intel gathered, the clone went to relay what he'd found.* *Back on land, Kohga was growing impatient, and likewise, the clones were as well. He cracked his neck, and was about to order the clones to dive into the water and maybe locate the fish, and tell him how deep it was. Just before he did, his recon clone popped his head above the earth between Kohga's feet, prompting Kohga to stare down, his blood beginning to boil. "It's about damn time." he said this with impatience, "what did you learn?" the clone then quickly informed him of the nature if the beast they were about to duel with, and also, the location of it.* *Kohga was more than sure that based on the location of the fish, and himself, neither foe could see the other. This worked for Kohga, and with lightning speed, Kohga's hand became a blur. In a flash Kohga brought his weight down with his palm slamming into the soil below resulting in a small bolt of lightning arced in the last known location of the fish.* (Raiton: Raitoningubajā) Lightning Element: Lightning badger Rank D , ninjutsu User: Raiden Kohga Description: The user performs the seals and slaps one hand to the ground, throwing about a 3inch in diameter lightning bolt into the earth, it makes an arc and heads up from underneath the shinobi. It will travel 10yards per second. If it lands it will disperse most clones and if it hits the victim it will give them a decent shock. Contact with bare skin will leave second degree burns.
*Meanwhile, the immersed fish floated in place waiting for Kohga, like him, the fish was curious. She hadn't seen a human, well, ever. She floated eyeing the bank intently. Before she could react fully, the wall exploded in a bright light. The lightning bolt ripped through the water electrifying it. Luckily for the fish, it missed her by just under a yard. Still, the electrified water zapped her, and she raced for the surface to escape.* [/spoiler] *Kohga felt a bit smug, he was sure that his small, but effective jutsu, was a success. Though he wasn't ready for what was about to happen. He watched the surface of the water sharply. From the depths, the fish rose, erupting from the vibrant aqua lake. It flew more than two yards above the surface. The sight that beheld Kohga left him in awe.* *Mixed with the vivid blues of the water, a huge shisui koi fish took flight. Time seemed to slow as the giant fish reached the peak of its jump. The fish was a mixture of a vivacious orange, gorgeous blue, and pure white. All the colors mixed together like a beautiful painting. Kohga was lost in its majesty. During its mid air acrobatics, both of their eyes managed to meet, and time slowed further, the koi and Kohga looked at one another. The koi seemed so interested in the figure before him. What seemed like it could have been an eternity later, the fish touched back down into the water causing a massive splash and ripples to lap the shore.* *Kohga slumped, from kneeling, to sitting on the ground. He couldn't believe what he'd just seen. Even more than the surroundings, that single fish, had made such an impact on him. He released the clones and sat, slack jawed, and in a stupor.*

*The mystified chuunin sat, not moving, mouth open slightly, and staring at the spot where the fish had touched down just moments ago. What he had just witnessed was the single most astonishing event of his life. Not only was he in a lush and vivacious environment, but it was home to a magnificent creature. This was the stuff of fairy tales. No where else in the world did koi grow so big. This one was easily five feet long, and must have weighed around 350lbs. Yet despite it's size, it was nimble, and graceful. Kohga began to wonder where the fish had come from. If it was born down here, what it was born from. He wondered where it had gone since their altercation. So many more thoughts to cloud an already burdened mind.*
*Minutes later Kohga stood up and dusted himself off. His curiosity was getting the better of him. There was so much he wanted to know about the koi, and he was prepared to run himself ragged to learn. He walked to the edge of the lake, peering into the distance, hoping it might breach the water and give him an opportunity to give chase. After twenty or thirty minutes of panning the lake, nothing. Not even a ripple in the calm, serene lake. A range of emotions flooded Kohga's mind. Disappointment, in the fact the fish had completely disappeared. Anger, he had let it get away. Remorse, he attacked a gorgeous being with no regard and without knowing what it was first. Happiness, for being able to see such a thing.*
*Within minutes, he had made up his mind. He would search the surface of the lake, and lure the fish out. Kohga stepped onto the lake after focusing chakra into his feet, which allowed him to stand atop the placid lake, and caused the first ripples to be seen, thus disturbing the placidity. The next moment, the young man disappeared, leaving a good splash of water behind him, and smaller splashes leading up to him. He had set off in a sprint, full tilt towards the end of the lake. This was done for a few reasons: One, he wanted to know what the other side, if there was one, looked like. Two, based on the size of the plants, trees, insects, and the koi, things grew to enormous sizes here, he wouldn't like to run into a aquatic predator here.*
*One, two, five miles passed with him sprinting at full speed. Sure, lack of food was causing him to tire, but pure ferocity and deep curiosity kept him pushing. He kept up his madman's pace, relentlessly forcing himself to work his body to its extremes for another couple miles, when it finally had some payoff. In the distance, some four more miles, was what appeared to be a small island. Joy swept over Kohga, followed closely by exhaustion. Two days without food had snuck up on him and he tripped up. Causing him to lose balance and chakra control to one foot. He stumbled and fell into the water, he was panting and treading and felt his muscles burn. He couldn't stop now, the island was so close.*
*With a determined yell, he focused chakra into his palms and knees, and stood atop the water again. The exhausted man walked towards the island, at first, shortly after he began running again. Though, not as quickly. Reality had set in, and there was a good chance of death if he didn't reach the island as soon as possible. The threat of unknown monsters and exhaustion trailing right behind, it became imperative that he make it.*

Kohga could feel his stamina draining, and still he pushed himself to the verge of passing out. Just one more mile. One. This was nothing. The very next thought was that he would count this as training, which caused a small laugh to escape his lips. A laugh which was cut short by a noise, and small increase in the waters height. Curious, the noise sounded similar to a waterfall. He turned his head and peaked over his shoulder. "Wha... What?! "Behind the exhausted man, was what appeared to be a tsunami, though not necessarily as tall. It was about twenty five feet tall, and stretched about one hundred yards wide. Nothing less that extremely dangerous. This was definitely meant to kill. There was no possible way that this was just some freak occurrence. Kohga gritted his teeth, "KOI! "fury could easily be detected in his voice, and on his face.* I'm accelerating the turns for this post/jutsu for the story. To make it more "real time" and not as turn based. *Within a second of noticing the giant wave, Kohga's hands flew into action. He had a special jutsu prepared for moments like this. Sure, he was tired, but his chakra hadnt been depleted yet, he could still whip out a few "just in case" jutsu he knew, such as this one. In a few more seconds, Kohga's face and arms, even his chest, became veiny and his breathing increased. The next few seconds, the wave was close on his heels. He could see now how formidable the wave actually was. Just another challenge, one he would welcome. When he turned his head his speed simultaneously increased, allowing him match, then outrun this godforsaken wave, and escape a watery grave. (Adorenarinrasshu) Adrenaline Rush Rank: C, ijutsu User: Raiden Kohga Description: First post: The user weaves the hand signs necessary to activate the jutsu, and when activated Chakra becomes focused on the adrenal glands, making them become hyperactive. Shortly after a surge of adrenaline rushes through the user’s body. The user’s heart rate rises significantly as well as his respiratory rate. Second/Third post: This post is where the effects of the jutsu come into play. Due to the increased heart and respiratory rates the user’s strength has increased by 15%, and speed by 35%. It is also at this time that any open wounds would begin to bleed out twice as quickly. If poisoned, and the poison was given intravenously, it would accelerate the poisons affects. Fourth post: The user’s heart slows back to a normal beat, and breathing also returns to normal. The user is stricken with exhaustion, and any pain received during or after the jutsu doubles. *He was now cooking at 135% speed, and before he knew what happened, his feet touched down on land, causing him to spur on another jutsu, this time, it was vastly different. Upon completing the seals, Kohga appeared to trip and aimed head first the earth. His hand was like a spear tip when he thrust it forward into the ground, before pulling much like stroking while swimming. In the blink of an eye his other hand did the same, and before the wave came he disappeared.* (Doton: Moguragakure) Earth Element: Mole Hiding Rank: C - Supplementary Ninjutsu Users: Doton Users (Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. This technique allows the ninja to burrow into the ground and hide out of sight. This allows them to avoid attack or travel underground.) *Though he was now hidden in the earth, and steadily traveling downwards at a high speed, he was not safe. The water had begun to flood his tunnel. Being the quick thinker he is, Kohga slammed his hands into the wall, and collapsed the tunnel behind him, turning the rather solid earth into mush. This, however, did not ensure safety. In fact, it could kill him. Kohga rapidly dug at a forty-five degree angle for a few yards, before digging upwards at a harder angle. When he felt he was high enough, he plateaued and started digging straight again. He knew by doing this the mud, muck, and water wouldn't be able to reach him. For now, he was safe.* *He was now underground again, and seemed to be safe. Safe from any outside dangers that is. The jutsu had worn off, and he was now twice as exhausted as before, and passed out. He was in a dire position, underground, asleep, and with limited air supply. He had made a small orb like room before passing out, but that didn't increase the amount of air, just the space to air ratio. He didn't think of that when he started tunneling, only that it was a good way to escape.* *Meanwhile in the lake, the koi fish was also struggling. It has used a lot of stamina and chakra to cause such a massive wave. It was slowing swimming back to home, which was miles off from its current location. She would have ridden the wave, but that was much too dangerous. She could have been washed ashore. From her point of view, the seemingly rouge wave smashed into the island with tremendous force. It almost crushed all of the plant life on the three by five mile island. It most assuredly covered the length of the wave, and anything outside the waves grasp was safe, yet everything that was touched was destroyed. Giant trees snapped like twigs, enormous rocks were thrown with ease, the islands middle section was sitting beneath three or four feet of water and spreading quickly. She was sure she succeeded in killing the stranger, yet she knew she failed in her heart. Or rather, that Kohga failed her.*

*Several hours later, Kohga awoke. He woke up confused, there was no light down here, he had almost no idea where he was, and he breathing felt shallow. The only things on his side were his stamina had been replenished, chakra too, and he knew where up was. Thanks to gravity. He reached above his head, and felt the soil. There was enough room here to kneel, so he did and then wove some familiar seals. He used his hands to part the earth above his head, and stood up, his torso now inside the hole he had created. In his mind he would go straight up until he reached the surface. Upon his climb, his memory started to return. He gritted his teeth.* *He remembered his exhaustion, and wanting to rest, then a wave of incredible size came speeding towards him. He was forced to use a somewhat dangerous technique to escape it, and had to hide underground, putting him in another dangerous position. Lack of oxygen and passing out could have spelt death for the out of place man. Remembering all this caused the leaf ninja to climb faster without even realizing it. Before he knew it, he had popped out of the ground, and was faced with another challenge. He came up beneath the most heavily flooded area of the island. It was a small chasm, about twenty feet wide and ten feet deep, filled to the brim with lake water.* *When his hand penetrated the surface, water immediately started draining into the hole and quickly soon after, broke the holes too open and more water started flowing onto Kohga. His anger increased. This fish, this fish was causing more trouble than it was worth. He propped himself up using his feet, using the now chakra infused muscles in his legs to hold up against the tremendous pressure. His arms gained weight, so it seemed, because of the water rushing by him, and still he was able to bring his hands together. With all the force he could muster, he wove a strained set of seals. Seconds later a clone reached into the hole and grabbed Kohga's arms, two more clones poked through underneath him, and pushed upwards. The final two clones used their bodies to receive some pressure of Kohga by diverting the water.* (Doton: Doton Bunshin) Earth Element: Rock Clone Rank: C, ninjutsu User: Various doton users Description: After a simple set of seals is woven, up to eight clones will arise from the earth. They are not particularly quick, but are quite sturdy and have equal strength to the caster. The clones can slip in and out of the earth at will, making them a decent reconnaissance jutsu.
*When he was out of the hole, he was still not safe. He was about eight feet under water, and getting short on oxygen. He had never held his breath this long before, there was no need to. To further the difficulty level of his predicament, the water was still trying to suck him into the hole. He took a knee, and pushed chakra into the earth while the five stone clones held onto him, keeping him stationary. He used it to close the hole and stop the flow of water, saving himself. Now, to address the lack of oxygen. When the clones released him, Kohga jumped with all his might towards the surface, and two clones pushed from beneath to help speed up his ascension. Kohga burst from the lake in a similar fashion to the koi hours before. He was a couple feet in the air, and took an immense breath. Had he not broken through when he did, he might have drowned. Even still, this strange environment had a profound affect on the troubled man. As soon as he got into the open, his anger seemed to dissipate. He was so caught up in everything, that he forgot to channel chakra into his feet to stand on the water, and fell back, splashing into the warm lake.* *He threaded water for a few moment. Taking in the sights, and began to smile, then laugh. A deep, hearty laugh. Something not even he could remember when he did it last. There was no reason for it, it was just something that came over him. Kohga laughed for a few minutes, all reality seemed to disappear, that is until his clones emerged at the edge of edge of the lake and stood looking at him, waiting for something to do. They looked at him with the same cold look he had always given everyone else. They didn't feel anger towards him, or anything at all for that matter, that's how they were designed. Seeing this, combined with everything else that had happened in the past few days sent Kohga's mind into a flurry. An epiphany of sorts.* *Kohga had met his youngest brother, he attacked a ridiculously powerful enemy who nearly killed him, sent very nearly into a depression, stumbled upon a utopia, and since then had ups and downs of enlightenment and anger. These events all weighed heavy I his mind. His ignorance was one of legends, his entire life was one large wrong doing. Kohga despised his clan mates for something that they had no control over. Enough to the point where he ruthlessly slaughtered about half of them. Men, women, and children alike. If the Kazekage and his cronies hadn't been there, he would have continued to kill until not a single person was left. This was his first revelation. He realized that his life had been lived in on of the most awful ways.* *The chuunin was in the middle of a personal battle, in a few rather long days, his world had near been flipped upside down. The face people were used to seeing was drawn across, but not for the same reasons. It wasn't because he was hateful and condescending anymore, it was because he was slightly embarrassed. Though outwardly it wouldn't appear so, the troubled boy had begun his growth into a man. He had realized his mistakes, all that was left was to atone for them, if at all possible. This does not mean he would give his life for the sake of it, but he would find a way to rectify it as best he could. Shortly after reaching the shore, he walked past his clones, head hung, and a blank look on his face. Everything he had done with his life was utterly meaningless. What good was it to be the strongest if all you did was sit atop your pedestal and look down on everyone?* *The clones followed his footsteps, sending small tremors as the walked in unison. Why wouldn't they, after all, each clone weighed one ton, needless to say its a hefty amount. He walked for a few minutes, mind now on the koi. He wanted to know if there were more, if it was alone, were it came from, how big it could actually grow, and if any of the legends held water. Legend has it that it takes two koi to swim up a certain river, and then they join together to create the mythical dragon. If that were the case, holding that power in his hands could be beneficial to himself, his village, and his country. Back in the village he had come to know what it meant to be a part of something bigger than himself. Which was the reason he attacked the Samurai in the first place. His head dropped to his hands. He wondered how his new village and brethren had faired. It was days ago that it happened. He consoled himself slightly in telling himself that even if he had stayed, there was nothing he could have done. He saved a child's life, and that was good enough for now.* *Tanshin. That poor boy. His mothers life, destroyed right before his very eyes at such a tender age. He clenched his fist and gritted his teeth in anger. That girl. She had better taken care of him or he would make good on his promise and tear her limb from limb. Hopefully Itazuki made that clear to her.* *Kohga looked back at his clones, who all stood in a line staring at him, faces matching his expression. Though, Kohga now had one thing differentiating himself from them: Tanso sōsagan. His yellow eye was aglow, the nine spots in his eye had turned from black to purple, and the larger veins around his eyes began to bulge.* (Tanso sōsagan) Carbon Maniuplation Eye Type: Kekkei Genkai, S-rank, Dojutsu Raiden Clan
When activated the “daisy type” pattern on his eye will slowly change, the black circles placed upon the end of each “leaf” of his eye will change to purple, including the pupil. Also when activated, the veins around the Tanso sōsagan will become predominantly apparent. The gift that this kekkei genkai bestows upon the user are as follows: The user gains the ability to see the carbon composition of organic objects, and to disassemble the atoms in organic objects, such as trees, grass, or corpses, even including the users own breath. After breaking it down he may extract the carbon content from them. At this stage in the KG the user has to weave hand signs and touch any objects to retrieve the carbon. Anything that has had the carbon removed will fall to dust. (Cannot be used on anything with a beating heart, enemy weapons, or ninja tools. Ie. tags and smoke bombs.) The wielder is able to utilize the carbon in which ever way he sees fit. Such as coating his own blades with the new elements, graphite and coal. Simply activating this doujutsu requires a small amount of chakra, and continuously consumes it until deactivated. While inactive the jutsu are unusable.
*Now is when his training would begin.*

*The Kekkei Genkai endowed chuunin closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. He would focus all his brainiac capabilities into deciphering the gift he had been given by his parents. When his eyes opened, again he noticed much of his surroundings were glowing a faint fuchsia. The soaked grass beneath his feet, the fallen trees, a couple bugs he could see. The ground and his clones did not have this color radiating from them. Strange... What was the connection. Then it hit him. His mind had been so clouded due to recent events that he completely forgot that he had come up with a hypothesis for it during his sparring match with Madoka.* *Carbon.* *All living things were comprised of carbon. Plants, animals, and even humans. Kohga placed his hands together, and formed a seal that released his stone clones, immediately they fell to the ground in heaps of dust and small rocks. They began to turn into mud, all except for the top few inches, because the water had completely saturated the bottom. Kohga was completely soaked, but he didn't care in the least right now, all that mattered was making himself stronger, not only for his sake, but for those current and future bonds he would begin to seek out. Each step he took splashed water around, and flattened the grass at his feet. He reached a rather large fallen tree, and squatted next to it, eyeing it carefully. It was definitely shining with the same color everything else was, but, that wasn't why he was looking at it.* *The reason was that this three had almost a yard in diameter trunk, and seemed as healthy as they come. The tree itself wasn't exactly exotic, depending on where you live I guess. It was a maple tree, one of the stronger types of wood. He was in awe slightly, the force of the tsunami didn't uproot it, but snapped or forced it to break about a yard from its roots, and pushed it about twenty or thirty yards away. Incredible. This koi became the most interesting thing in the cavern to Kohga. Such massive power and grace. Truly a wondrous being.* *Kohga placed his hands on the trees trunk, and began to focus intensly. He tried to force chakra into the tree, but not raiton or doton. Yet, nothing happened, he didn't possess any new elemental capabilities. He was fairly disappointed to say the least. Kohga bit his lip in frustration, he knew there was a way to get this to be useful. He slapped his own face, of course. Seals. Man... I must be losing it. he performed a few seals in an order he'd never done before and used his natural chakra. Again, nothing. His frustration grew. A second time he wove the seals, this time he placed one hand on the log and held the last half seal with one hand. What happened next Kohga hadn't seen nor heard of before.* (Kekkei Genkai: Kābon shūshū) Bloodline Trait: Carbon gathering Rank: D, Bloodline Trait User: Raiden Kohga Description: the first jutsu the Tanso sōsagan users learn. After the desired hand signs have been woven, the user places his hand upon an organic item and is able to transform any amount of carbon he sees fit. (Ex; if he wanted 4 lbs of carbon, he would not have to dematerialize an entire tree. Just 20 lbs of it, since there is only 20% carbon per pound of organic material.) When the Shikō no kābon sōsagan is awakened, the user no longer has to touch the object to gather carbon, but may dismantle any object within 6 yards.
*Upon placing his hand on the tree, five yards of it fell into a fine dust, and into the water. The color didn't disappear, it actually became somewhat brighter, more concentrated. He had just dismantled around one hundred pounds of the tree, and created about twenty pounds of pure carbon. Kohga felt pretty proud of himself. Until he thought that there was no point. He hasn't mastered the jutsu yet, just discovered it.* *Less than an hour later, Kohga had dissimilated the entire tree. He stood over it, panting slightly. Sometimes he used more chakra than necessary, but he was getting close to mastering the technique. It was a very simple one, he'd even argue easier than a normal bunshin. All it took was tearing apart the atomic structure of an organic object and pulling the element he needed from it out while destroying the unnecessary remainders.* *Kohga figured now would be a good time to try and mold new elements out of the carbon. He knew that it was possible, he could use magnetism now. Others could use water and make syrup, and stuff of that nature. Carbon by itself was fairly useless, to him anyway. He ran though a check list aloud, Let's see. Carbon can be used in graphite, for pencils and such. Coal, which has various uses. Carbon fiber, a very strong and durable material, and... he paused slightly, a smile appearing on his face, And Diamonds. Those are the pure carbon. he also conceded that diamond would be the most difficult to make, even Mother Nature takes time. That, he would try last. He settled on graphite, coal wouldn't be useful just yet, not completely wet.* *Kohga took a deep breath, and wove similar seals to the previous one, with the difference being he added a seal at the end, then plunged his hand into the water to touch the carbon. As soon as his fingers touched the carbon, he visualized senbon needles. Like a couple of the previous times, he exerted more chakra than necessary, prompting him to think he needed to work on chakra control again. He had been too concerned with strength, not precision. In his mind strength is nothing without accuracy. The jutsu he had just used worked perfectly, much to his surprise. Though, there was one drawback, he transformed more than half the trees carbon into senbon needles. He created more than one person could carry. Thousands upon thousands were scattered in the water.* (Kekkei Genkai: Gurafaitotsūru no sakusei ) Bloodline Trait: Graphite tool creation Rank: D User: Raiden Kohga Description: the user weaves a set of seals, then visualizes a certain tool to be made. The larger the tool, the more graphite would be required. To use this jutsu the user must have graphite ready to be used, otherwise he must convert the carbon into graphite first, or subsequently transform an organic object directly to Graphite. *Kohga chuckled, what a waste. He had a bit of chakra left, enough to manipulate the earth and make some sort of carrying case. The water at this time had dispersed most of the way, and he was willing to bet that most of it up to a few feet deep was completely saturated. There were the clones though, about half of the dirt used for them was dry. Kohga walked over to the clones he had turned to rubble, and squatted over the first , and put his hands into it. Using a minute amount of chakra, he formed all the dry soil into a cube, incredibly dense to ring out any water he might have accidentally missed, and then tried to pick it up. He then realized it must weigh close to four or five hundred pounds, much more than necessary. He took about fifty of sixty pounds and created a box, similar to an old Japanese medicine box, and crafted some shoulder hooks to sit on. He was now running pretty low on chakra and getting sleepy again. He filled the box with senbon needles until it more three quarters full, and then sealed it off with another handful of dirt, making a new chamber. In this he scooped up wet handfuls of pure carbon and put them in there, and sealed it once more.* *After hoisting the large box onto his back, he realized how tired he actually was. He had only been awake for a few hours, but had pushed himself pretty hard in that time. Learned two new jutsu, and used one repeatedly. He was pleased, but exhausted. Twenty very long minutes of jogging later he had reached dry land, and set his box down. He panted slightly, there was still stuff to do before he could rest. He needed a fire at least, to dry his clothes and evaporate the excess water in the makeshift backpack he created, he needed some source of food and water as well.* *Kohga's legs felt heavy, his arms felt the same, but he trudged around the island collecting sticks and small logs to start a fire. When he felt he found enough, he walked back to his stone satchel and placed everything next to it. His stomach growled loudly. He was starving, it had been almost three days since his last meal now, and it was taking its toll. The entire time he walked around he had not seen a single woodland creature, he did see a couple ponds though. He wasn't sure if the tidal wave had created them, or if they had been there before hand. It couldn't hurt to look, he thought to himself. Kohga walked towards the nearest one he knew of, and looked into it. Nothing. Not a single movement or even plant life. He was highly disappointed but intent on getting food, and so he walked to the next one. This one was a success. There were four or five small fish, his mouth watered like a small waterfall.* *Kohga quickly reached into his pouch and retrieved six senbon, one for each fish and another just in case. He flung each with deadly precision, but due to his current condition, he was slightly off with each throw. He did hit each fish, which was good enough for him. After pulling the fish from the small pond, he walked proudly over to his back pack, and sat down.* *Kohga arranged the sticks in a pyramid formation, and broke the smallest up to make kindling. He pointed his fingers as he did to make the last fire, and shot a jolt of electricity from the tip to create a fire. Within seconds the fire began to consume the entire wooden structure, and then Kohga began to cook his prized fish. Ten minutes later, Kohga stared at five fish, cooked to perfection and then devoured them. A huge satisfied smile stretched across his face, he forgot about being hungry because the fish was succulent and juicy. Perfect. He fell back into the dirt and quickly proceeded to fall into a deep sleep.*

Post by Kohga on Sept 4, 2016 19:23:31 GMT
For story purposes I'm using more than two just per post. I'm aware when in an actual battle it's limited. *Kohga managed to sleep for more than twelve hours, more than necessary, but rejuvenating to the utmost degree. When his eyes opened he felt like a new man. No pain in his body, no tiredness in his system, he felt perfect. He jumped to his feet and looked around. No signs of anything coming near him in his sleep, the fire had burnt itself out, and his package was still there next to him. He opened the sealed box to check if the water inside had evaporated like he had hoped, which it had. Kohga chuckled, today was going to be a good day. How could it not be? It started off so perfect, he was in a magnificent place, and to top it all off, he was getting stronger. That, he could feel in his core. ALRIGHT! Let's get this party started. * *Anyone looking in on him, who actually knew him, would find all of his recent behavior strange. He had not spoken to IF in days, was full of life, and seemed happy to be alive. A drastic change from the man who had come to the leaf just weeks ago. Maybe it was something in the air? Maybe it was a needed escape? Maybe it was the scenery. No one would really know for sure, least of all Konohagakure. The man who would return was the man they all thought he was in the first place. For a second, a thought crossed his mind. When he returned, he'd need to tell the Hokage of his deceit. A tough choice, but he would submit to any punishment, other than death. That's something he would fight against, though he really hoped he wouldn't need to.* *Kohga ran through his routine, stretching, v-ups, push-ups, cardio, then some form rolling to keep his Muay Thai and Boran sharp. Next he would need some bunshin, to help him train. He needed a battle , he had a hard time learning in peaceful situations. With what seemed like urgency, but was more along the lines of impatience, he blew through the seals for his stone clones, and in no time at all he had eight surrounding him. Now he had a smile from ear to ear. They all seemed to be perfect. He went through, and thoroughly inspected them all. Two had cracks, and one had a hollow head. Not bad. Not perfect, but not bad. He quickly healed them all, and then had an idea. Sure, eight stone clones each weighing a ton and could slip through the earth was a challenge, but doable. Why not up the ante? His smile faded, he needed focus for this. He eyed three clones and they all converged, standing shoulder to shoulder. Kohga slowly wove some seals to make sure they were correct, and when he finished, the three clones began to merge together. At first they all formed into some grotesque being, and in no time, a giant appeared before him. A stone dragon. Like he did his clones, he inspected the dragon, and also like his clones, there were some cracks. Well, no one was perfect off the bat.* (Doton: Doton Bunshin) Earth Element: Rock Clone Rank: C, ninjutsu User: Various doton users Description: After a simple set of seals is woven, up to eight clones will arise from the earth. They are not particularly quick, but are quite sturdy and have equal strength to the caster. The clones can slip in and out of the earth at will, making them a decent reconnaissance jutsu.
(Doton:Chūgoku no Sutōndoragon) Earth Element: Chinese Stone Dragon Rank: B, Ninjutsu User: Raiden Kohga Description: (Can only be used in conjunction with Stone Clones, with three or more present at one time.) After having stone clones present, the user joins them together to form a ten foot, three ton Chinese style dragon. The dragon cannot fly and it cannot shoot projectiles. It can slip in and out of the earth with ease, and is highly durable.
*Kohga now stood before five stone clones, and a dragon of his own creation. This was a challenge now, brilliant. Now, all of your objectives are the same. Subdue me. Kohga took his Muay Boran stance, and like they weren't ever there, four clones and the dragon disappeared into the soil from which they were comprised of. The two stood looking at one another, but Kohga was trying to feel out the others beneath his feet, to no avail. They displaced no dirt and made no vibration when moving. Turns out they were more difficult to find that he had anticipated. The clone twitched. Kohga knew it was a feint, an they wanted him to run for his box, the right, but he moved the opposite direction. They anticipated that as well. The moment he dodged that way, two clones sprang from the dirt and each aimed a strong punch, one to the back of his head and one to his chest. Kohga simultaneously ducked and sidestepped to avoid both blows. The moment both of his feet had sturdy holds on the ground he thrust his palm forward at the arm of the clone who attempted to punch his chest. The attack was more that just a punch, it was a perfect transfer of energy, maximizing damage. The clones arm was hit in the elbows joint and subsequently had it blown off.* (Kinetikku Tensō Yashi) Kinetic Transfer Palm Rank: C, Taijutsu User: Raiden Kohga Description: An upgraded version of Asshou. When the user attack the victim with a punch, all the kinetic energy built up by the punch in transferred completely into their body, significantly enhancing the force of the blow. This is accomplished by striking with with your hand pointed and fingers flat, and upon touching the victim, in a split second the user swings his palm down slamming it into them, never losing contact with the opponent. This palm can send an enemy flying and will always bruise internal organs, depending on where it lands.
*The clone that was behind Kohga did not just sit idly by and watch, which Kohga expected and hoped he would do. The clone threw a kick aimed to Kohga's ribs, and a fraction of a second after he exploded the other clones arm, it connected. Or so it seemed. Kohga anticipated the attack, and wove a basic seal with a single hand, and switched places with the already damaged clone. When the kick collided it ripped the clone in two and sent it crumbling into dust. Kohga thought just then that any attack that landed would be devastating. Before he could finish the final clone, two more sets of hands burst forth from the ground beneath him and tried to grab his legs, while the clone that never submerged itself went to push kick Kohga's back.* (Kawarimi) Substitution Rank: E – Supplementary Ninjutsu Users: Basic Ninja (Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.)
*With a clone to his front, one in the back, and two below, the only place for him to go was up. With great force Kohga leapt into the air, narrowly avoiding the brutal kick. Turns out he had bitten off a bit more than he could chew, but as was his style, he would end this quickly. Before he reached the peak of his jump, while clones had just begun to react, Kohga finished another set of seals. Two more clones appeared next to him, each locking a hand in his. He used his legs to gain momentum to twist in the air, and to catapult the raiton clones at the doton ones. One of the doton clones jumped to intercept the raiton infused ones, but it was a foolish plan. The kamikaze clones welcomed this, and touch fingertips before the doton clone cocked a punch back.* (Raiton: Kamikaze Kaminari Bunshin) Lightning Element: Kamikaze Lightning Clone Rank: B, Ninjutsu User: Raiden Kohga Description: After weaving the necessary seals this jutsu creates sets of two lightning clones. They are similar to the regular clones in most ways, except their intelligence is a little greater and they are true to their element, Very quick, and highly agile. The main difference is that when two or more of the clones touch, they create an explosion equal to that of six explosive tags. Meaning each of clone has the potential of three tags. If the clones do not touch one another, and are destroyed by either a physical attack, or jutsu, the effects do not differ from the regular lightning clones. Meaning if touched by the opponent they will recieve a shock.
*Kohga braced himself by covering his body and face with his legs and arms. What ensued was nothing short of a significant explosion. The clones that touched both erupted in a lightning explosion with obliterated the nearest clones, two to be exact, and dismembered the two furthest ones, rendering them useless. Kohga was right to brace, the explosion reached him, though only slightly, and burned his forearms, and to a lesser degree, his shins. It did knock him back a little so that when he landed after opening, he was off balance and fell to his butt.* *Needless to say, Kohga was already feeling the toll of this small battle. He used powerful jutsu in a short span, and still had an opponent to worry about, his dragon. Wasting no time at all, he got to his feet and started darting around the battlegrounds, he was not foolish enough to search for the dragon, so he would let it come to him. Kohga didn't have to wait long, as if to stop him, a large tail came from underneath him and tried to swat him into the air. While it missed its intended target, the attack clipped Kohga's leg and flip him violently forward. The next move was staggering, the dragons palm came next and hit Kohga in the chest while he was upside down, sending him flying almost six yards before landing on his shoulder, and bouncing and flipping until he rolled to a stop. Kohga got up, on wobbly legs. That arm was immensely heavy, and moved with a good deal of speed. Though it wasn't a full power attack, it hurt him badly enough. Kohga had half stamina, and enough chakra to use one decent jutsu, or a few smaller ones. Time was against the tired Shinobi.*

*Kohga fought the need to pant, and controlled his breathing, he could not lose his cool. His brain working on all possible actions to take and each of their consequences. Which jutsu to use, where to move, how the dragon would react, what his reaction to the dragons movements would be should he move second. Sadly, his forte would not work in this event, he couldn't use genjutsu on his own dragon, never mind that it was without a definite consciousness. At a glance, the two looked to be at a stale mate, but in reality, the dragon had the upper hand. Kohga was fine with this, he found no joy in always looking like you were going to win. The dragon stood around fifteen yards from Kohga, a fair distance, but Kohga needed it to be shorter.* *The dragon let out an ungodly noise, like the sound of an avalanche destroying all in its path. The noise was sound loud and unexpected Kohga nearly flinched. Kohga assumed it was a battle cry, based on the fact the dragon soon there after charged at him. The dragon was deceptively fast. Something that big and heavy shouldn't be able to move that quickly on land, which means it also moved quicker underground. The instant the dragon began to move Kohga matched its movements by sewing seals, yet held the last one, and didn't move from his spot. The dragon took a dive at Kohga, jaws open wide as if to eat him whole. The tired man strafed right and completed his signs, not a moment to soon either. The dragon was less than a yard away when Kohga's hand slapped the surface below, and what in what seemed to be instantaneous, and bolt of lighting ripped from the ground and hit the stone dragon square in the neck. Where Kohga was hoping a hole would break through, it left a crater, well, and good sized dent. Looks like his creation was stronger than previously thought. The dragon continued its dive and submersed itself underneath the surface.* (Raiton: Raitoningubajā) Lightning Element: Lightning badger Rank D , ninjutsu User: Raiden Kohga Description: The user performs the seals and slaps one hand to the ground, throwing about a 3inch in diameter lightning bolt into the earth, it makes an arc and heads up from underneath the shinobi. It will travel 10yards per second. If it lands it will disperse most clones and if it hits the victim it will give them a decent shock. Contact with bare skin will leave second degree burns.
*The dragons advantage grew every minute this battle drug out, this was something Kohga was definitely aware of. He ran at full speed to the box full of graphite senbon, which seemed to be his last hope at this point. What most people don't know is that graphite is highly conductive, and would suck his raiton up like a sponge to water. With the couple thousand he had in there, he could surely annihilate the stone demon he created. He could release it, but then he wouldn't have trained as hard as he wanted. In one smooth motion Kohga punched the top of the container, smashing a hole into it and expanded his hand so it touched the senbon. Of course he broke several in doing so, but there were ample senbon to do what he needed. While he continued running, the dragon hatched its own plan. The small stutter Kohga took to grab the box, allowed the legendary stone serpent to catch up to him, and in doing so, he fell into the dragons plan.* *All would be decided in the next move. The dragon ripped from below, and threw Kohga high into the air like a toy. Still, Kohga never let go of the box as he flipped. The dragon readied its tail, to slam it's master into the earth and possibly kill him. The slightly more injured Kohga now would put his plan into action. From his hand he poured raiton chakra into the box, charging all senbon it contained, then followed up with a vicious palm to the rear blowing the weakened box both forward and apart. Above the dragon was a maelstrom comprised of lightning endowed graphite sendbon needles. Anyone, anything would have trouble dodging that well executed attack.* Name: Chakra Senjigusuri - Chakra Infusion Rank: D - Ninjutsu Users: Suna Genin Description: After performing the necessary seals, the next weapon the user holds will be coated in their chakra. Depending on the nature of their chakra changes it’s newfound ability, but one instant bonus it grants is being able to block and repel weapons of a equal or lower rank chakra infusion as their own. Can also slice through non infused weaponry, unless special requirements are set, but a stronger infusion than their own will slice through it.
*In response to Kohga's actions, the dragon began to submerge itself again, in hopes of avoiding the deadly rain, but it was all for not. The rate at which the senbon were traveling, against the dragons reaction time plus the time it took to sink, clearly handed the needles the advantage. The rainstorm of lightning graphite needles collided with the stone behemoth with full force against the top half of its body, the rest had sunk already. Every square inch of the dragon had at least one needle protruding from it, and every needle dug in more than halfway before snapping. Had it been human flesh or wood, the needles would have pierced them and continued traveling out the their backs.* *Kohga landed hard with a loud thud as he smacked back down to the ground, flat on his back. Whether he felt like it or not, aside from perfectly on his feet, this was the next best thing. It displaced most of the force around his body, instead of concentrating it on a single point, say, his head. Landing as hard as he did knocked the air from his lungs, which was apparent due to the gasping and groaning that could be heard from him, still, he had one. Not the he felt like he did. He finally composed himself enough to sit up and look at the jutsu he bested, and felt pleased. The hunk of rocks lie motionless, half in the ground, half out, and with shiny spots all over its body, where particles of the graphite were visible.* *After a couple minutes he picked himself up to his feet, and felt the extent of his injuries. His left ankle was swollen from the dragons tail smacking him upwards, as was his right thigh from the same tail, he had a few bruised ribs on each side from bouncing of the floor and his sternum was bruised too. His back felt as if it had a pinched nerve, and he had burns from his own bunshin explosion but other than that, nothing major, just some discomfort.*

Post by Kohga on Sept 4, 2016 19:24:52 GMT
*A few minutes after Kohga defeated his dragon, he started searching for herbs make some medicine, ointment for burns. He'd always known he would get burned in the field and have to treat it himself, he just never thought it would be by his own jutsu. He never really learned the true range of a two bunshin explosion, so in all, it was a learning experience. Pain is the best teacher, so they say. The island was large enough to be mostly intact after the enormous swell destroyed the islands innards, he just hoped that wasn't where the plants he needed were. If at all they did exist down here. He had probable cause to believe they did, there were tons of plants that didn't belong in this part of the world here, he attested that to the ridiculous environment. Seemed like anything could thrive down here. Still, with that he wondered why there was almost no animal life. He'd seen small fish in ponds, a fair bit of rodents, lots of bugs, but no larger animals, except that koi. Yet another mystery that this "utopia" held.* *Hours of searching later, Kohga was growing hungry again, time to fish again. He'd seen a pond some time back, but he didn't exactly feel like back tracking, so he kept walking. There must be another somewhere. He hoped. All he really wanted was a bowl of ramen, and maybe a nice steak, some sake because he'd never tasted it before, eggs, toast, and some rice. Not all that much. The thought of all this mouthwatering food, did just that. He became more and more hungry by the minute. When he was about drooling from thinking of food, he spotted a pond up ahead. His eyes widened, and he sprinted there as fast as he could. All he could think about was frying some fish up. Juicy, tender, succulent fish.* *Dismay. That's the only word to describe the look on Kohga's face as he reached the inland pool. Not a single fish to be found. He threw rocks to try and flush them out, still nothing. He put one finger in the pond, and shocked the water, one lonely craw dad floated to the surface. With the ferocity of a starving person, Kohga whisked the small crustacean out of the water and popped its head to make sure it was dead. He then proceeded to munch and crunch it in his mouth before swallowing it. It tasted horrible, and barely even a second after that he regretted his decision. His stomach turned and he felt stick. He needed to vomit now, so the ole finger in the throat trick was used, and all was expelled from his stomach.* *After suffering a massive disappointment, anyone would be slightly disheartened. The vomiting caused his hunger to increase two, almost threefold. It was growling at him, as if it was upset with him. Though everyone knows your stomach doesn't have a consciousness of its own, that's just silly. Two, three, fours hours f searching go by. Nothing. Not even a bug. Aaaaaahhhh! Kohga yelled at the ceiling. He was hungry, frustrated, and had the most annoying pains from the burns. Needless to say his mood was not the best.* *Ten yards from Kohga was a small hill, and it had suddenly grown a pair of eyes. It was watching Kohga, eyeing him carefully. It thought it had just found its lunch. It crawled to the top of the hill, for it was a proud beast. It lived here, and scoured this island for food. It survived against the larger threats of this underground sanctuary, such as the koi, and whatever else this place held in store. A roar built, from the bottom of its lungs to the top, and then the beast let it go. Almost earthshaking. Immensely loud. However else you could describe it, Kohga could not think. It was so loud his own thoughts seemed to be drowned out. When he turned to look and see where it came from, he was surprised to say the least. Standing on all fours at the top of the hill, was something he had never seen. Really the only thing he could think of to call it would be an Komodiger or Tigodo. Which would be a cross between a Komodo Dragon and a Tiger.* *The monster stood at the top of the hill, chest out, glaring at Kohga. The eyes were bright yellow, trying to pierce Kohga or make him surrender. It stood two feet tall at the shoulder, and two more with its neck raised and head turned down. From snout to tail it was four and a half yards long. Each leg was two feet long and bulging with muscles. Its body was scaled as a lizards would be, yea on each elbow it had hair, and it had a mane on its neck. A tigers pattern ran along the beast from snout to tail. This was his island. This was his hunting grounds, this was his home. As far as the Tigodo was concerned, Kohga was food or a trespasser, in either event Kohga needed to be killed, and the lizard-cat had the equipment to do so. Each leg had five razor sharp talons, and his mouth was filled with one hundred teeth, also razor sharp.* *Kohga instantly became furious upon seeing the beast, but also a little happy. Yes, it was now a life or death situation, but it also meant he had food to eat. He licked his lips, it would taste good after being cooked. The two stood motionless, eyes locked, in a stand off. The Tigodo seemed fresh, while Kohga was obviously the tired one. Even the beast could see it. Perhaps it was just giving Kohga the benefit of the doubt. Kohga balled his left fist, and grabbed two senbon, and a kunai from his pouch, then got into his martial arts stance. He had no thoughts of taking it head on, but this would invite the poor monster to attack. Tigodo saw this movement, and the weapons in his hand. True to Kohga's suspicions the hybrid animal came forth, but in a zig zag pattern, and with incredible speed.* *Kohga was taken aback, the lizard thing could match, maybe even best his maximum speed. He let the senbon fly at his attacker. Miss. It was just too fast, and before Kohga knew it, he was within the monsters striking range. He only had time to cover his face, kunai out pointed, and take the blow. The Tigodo swung it's heavy yet whiplike tail at the battered man, and to it's dismay, lost about a foot of it. The blow did connect, it just happened to be unlucky enough to connect with Kohga's kunai, severing the last foot of it. The attack sent Kohga backwards, sliding, then stumbling to catch his balance. At this point both of the fury held inside the combatants was matched. Kohga wanted an easy dinner, so did the dragon-feline. The monster roared, with bloodlust this time. Kohga did the same, but his aura burst from him like a small explosion. His face contorted in a sadistic way as he roared back. His adrenaline was pumping at full capacity, he showed no signs of fatigue at this particular moment. The lizard-cat was apparently not ready for this, as it's back knees gave slightly before it caught itself. Causing Kohga to speed through an easy set of seals, an concentrating a killing chakra into his fingers.* (Tairyō Hakai Tento) Massive killing intent Rank C , User Raiden Kohga Description: This is not a jutsu. When pushed to his limits, or when kohga becomes enraged, his aura quickly switches from a cold anti-socialist demeanor, to one of pure blood lust. Nothing visibly changes besides his facial expression, which is usually blank. During this time a face of crazed anger is shown. His enemies will feel his bloodlust for up to 10 yards. Striking fear in there hearts. This is if they are weaker than him or can be intimidated fairly easy. This will not work on ninja two classes above. Ie genin will not affect jounin, and there is a small chance of it affected chuunin, until a higher status is achieved. No bonuses to strength, speed or chakra occurrs.
(Chakra Geka-yō Mesu) Chakra Scalpel Rank: D - Rank User: Koga Hikari, Raiden Kohga,Varies Medical Nin A Ninjutsu technique used, primarily, for field surgery. The ninja concentrates a powerful aura of chakra around their hand, creating a blade capable of tearing through muscles and arteries, or breaking bone, without actually breaking the skin of the person they're using it on. This technique can also be used to repair the chakra system in a patient if for some reason it has been damaged. When used offensively, in combat, it is difficult to concentrate on the length and power of the scalpel, making it harder to successfully hit an enemy's arteries, ensuring a kill.
*Kohga gladly seized the opportunity by casting a jutsu, but he also flung the kunai at his opponent filled with killing intent just after the jutsu had been completed. The lizard regained composure in the nick of time, dodging the kunai, though not fully. The blade was aimed at the heart, but with the quick movement, it cut through the top part of its shoulder. The tool had severed some tendons and muscle fibers, taking the lizards arm from one hundred percent, to sixty-five, and the top speed down about twenty percent. When it winced in pain, Kohga continued his onslaught by charging at the Tigodo. His adrenaline was at maximum, naturally, and his will power was at all time high, there was no way he could mess up and lose here.*

*He had suffered more wounds, and was in desperate need of ointments, and a cauterizing agent. He could use lightning, but that could do more harm than good. He ripped off the remainder of his pants and tied it around his waist to stop the blood from pouring out so quickly. Even with the amount of pain he was in, Kohga was satisfied. He killed the monster and secured some food. Later he would come and seal the Tigodo and use it for something in the future. For now, he walked towards the monsters hill, to see if he could locate any herbs, he noticed tons back across the lake, but none here yet. That is, until he climbed the hill. For some unknown reason, the backside of the hill was covered in plants, while the front remained somewhat barren, only having grass and a few weeds. It was then that Kohga also noticed the hole that was the beasts lair. He would have to check that out later, when he wasn't in danger of dying.* *Kohga walked through the herb garden, collecting what he needed. Surprisingly enough, this place had basically everything you could want. He could make pain medicine, antidotes for certain poisons, the poisons themselves, ointments, and a few other items. At this moment all he needed was the herbs to stop bleeding, and the ointment for his burns. When he had collected the required ingredients for both, he sat in the dirt and then scoop up a large handful, then using some of the small amount of chakra left, molded it into a mortar and pastel, for grinding the herbs down. Several minutes later the first of two was completed, just in time too. He was beginning to feel faint. He pulled off his makeshift bandage, and blood fell from it, covering his legs. He blinked uncontrollably, trying to regain composure. He wasn't sickened by the sight, but it hit him, how much blood he had lost. He used some water from the small reservoir a few feet from him to clean the wound as best he could, then stuffed it full of the coagulant. He already felt a little better. Though, that was all in his mind. What he needed now was food and sleep, or he would pass out and wake up even more hungry. *
(Kigusuri Souzou) Medicine Creation Rank: C – Supplementary Ijutsu Users: Medical Nin (A medical nin has learned to study the effects of various naturally occurring compounds on the human body and how they can be combined in order to create medicine. In spite of increased knowledge of medical techniques there are times when mixing a medicine is the only solution to a problem. Medicine creation has a variety of uses, such as creating poison antidotes, healing ointments, and disease fighting. Medicines can also be used to treat minor every day ailments such as an upset stomach or cold. A Genin using this skill has only rudimentary knowledge and often requires a small guide in order to find and create basic medicines. A Chuunin will know how to prepare a medicine for any normal injury, poison, or disease. Advanced and highly specialized medicines, such as those needed to counteract the negative effects of the Akimichi 3 color pills, require the knowledge of a Jounin who has learned more through experience than could be found in any book.)
*He stood up on shakey legs, there were some edible herbs on the hill, he would eat those and take a nap. There was no way he could lift the monster right now, all he really wanted was sleep. He grabbed handfuls of the nutritious herbs, and ate them savagely. Stuffing it into his face and chewing, before swallowing he shoved even more into his mouth. This caveman-esque display continued for several minutes, until Kohga couldn't eat it anymore. None of it tasted any good, but it was necessary to eat before sleeping, and this was available. Kohga rolled onto his back, and in moments the injured man was asleep.* *He only slept a few hours, not nearly as much as he would have liked, but hunger pangs woke him. The herbs helped his stamina and chakra recover, but they didn't cure his overall hunger. He rose, groggy and still in a decent amount of pain from the recent battles. He never created the burn ointment, but his gash seemed to be doing well. It would be a little while before he could do some really physical training again, so in this time he would hone some jutsu or create new ones. For now, food was top of the list. He stumbled over the top of the hill, and looked at his trophy. The large and extremely rare Tigodo. Come to think of it, he'd never heard of such an animal existing. He have to spare its skeleton at least, and show some scientists. They could get the visual images from his head.* *Kohga walked to the beast and grabbed it by it's tail, normally he would have lifted it on his shoulder, but today he was injured, and without a medic. He had basic medicinal skills, but they weren't of much use here. After lunch, dinner, whatever this was, he would have to create a healing compound. Something that accelerated healing. He drug the giant lizard around the hill, and to a clearing by the herb garden. He proceeded to pull out a kunai and cleave flesh from the deceased animal, careful not to hit bone. He took about sixteen ounces from the thigh of his prey, after it cooked it should taste amazing. He placed his hand on the ground, created a small pedestal using his doton chakra, and hardened the top as much as he could. He took a deep breath and then winced, it stretched his wound slightly, but he blew out. He tried to blow off the dust from the pedestal, and set the meat down on it. He would wash it, then cook it, then devour it.* *Kohga leaned over his prize and used his kunai to carve a symbol into the corpse, quickly weave the seals necessary to activate the jutsu, and slapped the dead animal. No sooner was the clap heard, than the seal spread across its body, and vanished. Next, a yawn was heard. That was a rather large amount of chakra he had just used. His chakra hadn't fully recovered yet, but he had enough for that. He went about cleaning the meat, then in a very similar manner to the fish, cooked the lizard steak. After cooking it, the food didn't last long. Kohga ate every bite, though it stuffed him completely, and wiped off the pedestal, and took a seat. He was getting sleepy again.* (Shitai Shīru) Corpse Sealing Rank: D, C, B, A Users: Raiden Kohga Description: A sealing technique used to seal corpses away for later use. The user must carve the symbol for corpse (死体) into the body he wishes to seal, weave a short set of seals, and then place his hand onto it. This will create strings of the symbol that encompass the entire body before is disappears, and is moved to its storage facility. D= 1-10lbs C= 11-110lbs B = 110-300lbs A = 300-2tons max.
*Before his next nap, he wanted to explore the den that the Tigodo had made, maybe there was some useful stuff in there. He walked over to it, and looked inside. It was deep, really deep. It went at a downward angle into the hill, and went further than his eyes could see. Bothersome. He couldn't really crouch either, that and with no light, would make a difficult exploration. It would have to wait until later, Kohga was going to mark the hill, but decided against it. If he could find the island, he could find the hill. He sat down in the flower garden again, now with a smile across his face. He could feel himself growing. In more ways than one. His self discovery was coming along nicely, not that that was even the point of running away. He laid down in the flowers, they made a nice bed. They were soft, and with nice temperature of the cavern and a full belly, he dozed off into a peaceful sleep.*

*During his slumber, he didn't have a single dream. To him, he blinked and woke up rejuvenated. In reality he slept about eight hours. He sat up and pinched his stomach a little, it was still tender from the fight with the Tigodo, but it was healing nicely. The herbs he used seemed to do the trick, plus the natural aura of this place seemed to accelerate healing a small amount, yet still noticeable. He yawned like a bear awaking from winter hibernation, and stood up. He chuckled at the sight of himself. He had only shoes and his underwear on. Everything else had been lost in some way or another. No one was around, but Kohga wouldn't care if someone was, he would just laugh harder at the faces they would make. He began to laugh at the thought, which he quickly stopped. Contracting the muscles in his abdomen hurt his wound. Ahhhhhh. This is frustrating. he was at a stand still in physical training, as well as actually moving great distances. The island was large enough to have some sort of food source, like those juicy fish. For now, he would settle on jutsu training. All that took was a moving his arms and hands. That would suffice until he could move and search for that koi fish. Truly the only thing that got in his nerves right now was the fact it nearly killed him. He wasn't even really thinking about all that happened in the leaf. That could all be dealt with later.* *Today Kohga would focus on his affinity: Raiton. He had an idea of a new jutsu to create. He could perform the Ranshinshou, but that was attack ijutsu. He wanted to modify that to make a jutsu that could be used defensively as well as offensively. Kohga sat in a lotus position, and meditated for a moment, focusing his chakra. Last time he did Ranshinshou it took almost all of his chakra, but that was over a year ago now, he was much stronger. Still, the idea he had for this jutsu would take the same or more chakra. When he felt he had the necessary focus, Kohga wove the seals for Ranshinshou and added two more to give the desired affect. His mastery of Ranshinshou, the first medical jutsu he learned, at a young age at that, showed here. Kohga's entire upper body became charged with Ranshinshou's qualities. He looked down at his arms and chest, there was and electrical charge running through them, small bolts were arcing off and then reconnecting to his body. His goal was to cover his entire body, but for a first try this wasn't bad. The only way to see if he had achieved the desired results was to go and use it on something. A fish would do. He could kill two birds with one stone that way, test a new jutsu, and get tonight's dinner.* (Zenshin Ranshinshou) Entire Body Chaotic Mental Collision Rank: A – Supplementary, Defensive Hijutsu User: Raiden Kohga, Medical Raiton Users Description: This is an advanced version of Ranshinshou; the main differences being within the utilization of the jutsu. Ranshinshou is a more offensively inclined jutsu, whereas Zenshin can be used in a more defensive manner. With Zenshin Ranshinshou, the user coats his body with the Raiton element creating an electrical charge that is capable of disrupting the body’s nervous system, therefore impeding movement. The jutsu itself may last up to five posts, and then dissipates afterwards. Should the user make physical contact with anyone, friend or foe, the whole of the charge will be transferred into the victim’s body, successfully completing the jutsu’s purpose. The result is the brain’s electrical impulses to move one body part now being relayed to another, making it near impossible for the opponent to move unless they have high skill and understanding of the body. This effect will only last 3 posts.
*Upon standing he felt the result of the chakra used for that. He used the proper amount, but wasted some of it by not distributing it properly throughout his body. No problem, as far as he was concerned he had all the time in the world to master it. He wasn't entirely sure how long the jutsu would last, so finding dinner would need to happen sooner rather than later. He had seen a couple ponds around the island during his trek to find herbs, the closest of which had been drained of fish, so the next would be his target destination. A brisk walk and short time later, Kohga made it to the fish pond. When he arrived he promptly got on all fours and dunked his head into the water. He knew that just by putting his hand in it would work, but that would be the same as Ranshinshou, he needed Zenshin Ranshinshou to work, which would cover his entire body.* *Kohga was pleased when the fish began violently twitching under the water. The jutsu was a success, aside from not covering his entire body, but that was a minor problem. He began grinning from ear to ear, this had potential to be his greatest weapon. He would just have to figure out how to push it further than that. He collected his prize and then headed back to the hill to eat then rest.* *The next few days were almost identical to the day where he tried Zenshin Ranshinshou, except everyday he grew closer to mastering the difficult jutsu. By day four, he could cover his entires body. By day five his stomach had healed enough to walk a further distance, so he cast the newly acquired jutsu, and walked around the island in search of something other than a fish to try it on. Sadly, nothing else resided on the island. Only the fish in the ponds, and the Tigodo that he killed almost a week ago now. His stomach felt much better by day six. This was a truly wonderful place. By changing the dressing everyday and applying some of the medicine had made, something that should have taken at least three weeks to heal, would be about fully healed in two. While walking around he learned the length of time the Zenshin would be available. More than long enough in a close quarters battle, that's for sure. There was still the matter of food, and him being low on chakra, looks like today it was senbon.* *The next day Kohga awoke and figured it was time for a change, he could now do a little stretching without injuring himself. The wound didn't actually hurt unless he hyperextended it, and just avoiding stretching his abdominals would keep that from happening. So he went on with all the stretches that could be done without exacerbating his halfway healed wound. Today Kohga would choose a new jutsu to learn. Unfortunately he had no mirror, or person to try genjutsu on, and his stomach couldn't take taijutsu at the moment, so he would have to choose nin or ijutsu. No. None of that. He would choose to train his Kekkei Genkai.*
