In the last week the other admin and I have come to agree that some changes need to be made. As such we have implemented some new rules and dynamics.
1: We have a timeline, seasons, and dates now. Every one year in real life, will be two years IC. That means you will have to age your character accordingly. The seasons will also affect how you RP. Traveling during the winter will likely be much colder than summer, and summer will likely be hotter than Winter.
2: Traveling threads are mandatory. This is explained more below.
3: Threads will have a mandatory designation symbol at the beginning of it:
{Read More Here: Click Me}
(MISSION) - A thread designated for certain members to gain skills or prizes by passing the mission. A failure may result in not learning the skill, injury (moderate to severe) or death. Depending on the difficulty of the mission. Mission success will grant the Individual the skill or prize. The prizes and skills are based on the missions difficulty. The lower the difficulty the less valuable the prize, and vice versa. Rank E is the lowest, and Rank SS is the highest.
(DET) Death Enabled Thread - This is pretty straightforward. If you are in combat and a dealt lethal damage. Your character dies. It's as simple as that. However, it does take both players to solidify the death of the other. We do this in fairness and fun, because if your character was killed off every other week it would not be a fun game. Now, most threads will not be DET, but some will always be. (ARC) and (MISSION) will always be DET. (TOURNAMENT/EXAMS) will be as well, but with a lot more slack in how it might play out. Ie: in an exam the proctor can step in and stop a lethal blow.
Now, In a non-DET, if you are dealt lethal damage your character will pass out at that spot from the pain or injury. You will be found by an NPC and taken to the nearest Hospital where you remain for 1-7 days depending on how bad the injury sustained was. During this time you will not be able to start a new thread, but you will be able to keep posting in your threads that are already open.

(ARC) - Pertains to the Site-wide Arc
(OPEN) - This allows any one in the general vicinity of your character to join in on your topic, and unless otherwise stated, is not a DET.
(CLOSED / PRIVATE) - Only members of the creator's choosing can RP. Private threads have the ability to be over-ridden if the topic's creator has given the residing location any reason to disallow a closed topic. ie: starting a blood bath in the middle of the night. Closed topic's should mainly be used for developing the character, or training. The topic's creator may request a same level or higher level character to train them, or request an NPC proctor. Requests may not always be granted, based on availability.

(TOURNAMENT / EXAMS) - Just like in the anime and manga, chuunin exams and other such events will happen from time to time, and will be labeled as such. Tournaments differ in the way that these are not primarily held for advancing your characters ranking, but can be for fun or prizes. (ie: mythical weapon, appropriate rank jutsu, etc.)
(TRAVEL) - Travel threads are a mandatory way of getting from point A to point B. Going to Suna from Konoha? Post in the travel section. Please post 2-5 paragraphs about your travel to point B. These are mostly closed threads, but have the ability to be randomly selected by an admin to have a test thrown into them, an ambush by some equal or lower rank NPC.
4: There is a thread-cap now, to ensure that a character is not in too many places at once. Each character is allowed 2 Training threads, 1 Mission or ARC thread, and 1-2 Sparring threads.
5: At the top of the first post of a thread there will be a "stamp" on it. An example is provided below.
Location: Amegakure
Time: 13:00
Season: Spring
Temperature: 32˙F
6: Lastly, the one week rule will be more heavily enforced. This is mostly in combat situations. Unless you give a reason for your absence, after one week your opponent will be able to call their hit. In a DET, there is a strong chance you will die. So, to avoid this, if you are going to be gone for an extended period of time, let an admin and your foe know first.
