-No doubling posting when in a group thread, give people some time to respond. If 7 days pass, contact an Admin or Mod, they will help you. In a similar manner, keep your actions per post limited. Multiple actions is like saying your opponent stood still for your post. See combat Rules for more info.
-If needed you may use 'OOC' to speak out of character. That is done in several ways.
{{OOC: Then Type your Message}} , any of the other brackets/parenthesis, or use the spoiler bbc and hide it, Titled OOC. Some players tend to bold their OOC so that it may be easier distinguished from the main rp text. The reason for OOC is so you may ask your opponent a question, state that they missed something in your post and will actions will be taken accordingly (see combat), or leave notes for other role-players in the thread. Granted, to avoid confusion we would like for you to use the PM system to do so, but if you must, use the references above.
-Make the most of your abilities when writing. Please pay attention to your spelling and grammar. It may make your post confusing to readers and other players if your sentences don’t make sense. We urge you to have a thesaurus handy, like an app on your phone. This site is in an impossible world and it feels down-played when someone says, "the rock was big," and then a few sentences later says "a big wave of water… etc." Plus, it helps your vocabulary on a day to day basis! Who doesn't want to sound smarter?
-Remember, each post is a miniature story helping create a book (thread, same thing). So treat them as such. Be descriptive and paint a picture with your words. Not every post has to be thousands of words long, but make an effort to play into the story telling.
-Please refrain from 'God-Moding' your character. No one is invincible or has an unlimited amount of chakra. Your build your character with strengths and weaknesses, play to them. So don't go overboard and rampage, even Kage and Legends have their Limits.
-No Insta-killing. You can't decide on your own if you kill another player. There are several rules explaining that in the combat rules section.
-The staff's word is final. If a staff member does not agree with your actions, they've got a reason for that. Don't get angry and start flaming them if you think they undermine your character or you feel like the call was unjust. Try to learn from it the ruling and make the best of it. If you really do disagree, discuss it in private with the Staff in question.
-Canon Characters. Canon characters such as Naruto, Orochimaru, or even small insignificant characters may not be registered. This disregards any means you may have for them to be brought into the RP. No matter what method you may have of making it possible for characters to be alive how ever many years from the manga, they are forbidden from being registered as both RPC's and NPC's.
-Characters related to canon characters are also prohibited and may not be registered as both NPC's or RPC's, the only exception being clans such as Uchiha with whom this is unavoidable. The main reason is to ensure continuity between the manga and the rp, as well as encouraging people to rp more original characters. That being said, The Sharingan (among other KG) are banned from the site. This will be explained more in the Banned and Limited Section.
-Explicit content. Since there tend to be minors on this site, whenever you are in a thread that has something that can be considered to be explicit or exceedingly mature, be sure to have the thread labeled with a warning of such content. This is basically any crude or vile act, such as intense violence in detail, rape, cruelty that many would find offending, and vulgar language. Basically, anything you wouldn't see on regular television, don't post here without a warning or disclaimer. Some children could run across something they have seen on NCC and take offense to it, so a warning would be needed. This goes for any board on the forum.
-Registry Spam. In the registry, it's considered spam to reply to an approval post with only a sole thank you or to merely count up the amount of approvals you have left to go or anything along those lines. It's fine to do it if the post as something to add to the topic- a new addition to the original post, a major change in the character's biography. But it's not okay to do the first or second solely for that purpose or to do both in one post. It is considered a violation of the rules and will be met accordingly.
- Staff Disapproval. This should go without saying. The staff reserves the right to deny your registry thread if they feel there are any errors in the unity of the information sheet. Though, the thread will not be denied without reason. You will be notified of the error(s) in a reply post.
